Frequently asked questions

What is Rahma Quran?

Rahma Quran is an online Quran academy. Students learn Quran reading, Tajweed and memorization with approved teachers in live one-to-one classes, from home, in their own time zone. The website also has a free Quran and Hadith library and a blog.

Is Rehma Quran the same as Rahma Quran?

Yes. Rehma and Rahma are two common spellings of the same name. This website, www.rahmaquran.com, is the Rahma Quran (Rehma Quran) online Quran academy.

Do you teach students outside Pakistan, in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia or the Gulf?

Yes. Rahma Quran is built for students worldwide. Lessons run in a live classroom in your browser, and every class time is shown in your own time zone. Courses can be billed in several currencies, including USD, GBP, EUR, AED, SAR, CAD and AUD, and each course page shows its currency before you enrol.

Are the teachers qualified?

Teachers register with a verified email address and are reviewed by the academy before they appear in the directory. Each profile shows the experience, languages and qualifications the teacher has entered, and certificates the teacher has uploaded, so you can decide for yourself.

Can I choose a male or a female teacher?

Yes. The teachers page has a gender filter (all, female teachers or male teachers) that you can combine with language and course filters. Who is available depends on the teachers currently approved.

Is it safe for my child? Can I sit in on the class?

Teachers are reviewed by the academy before they are listed. Classes run in a live classroom in your browser, so a parent can sit nearby during the lesson, and messages with the teacher stay inside the platform.

How much are the fees?

Each course shows its monthly fee and billing currency on the courses page before you enrol, so there is no need to guess. Your enrollment request is reviewed first, and no fee is created before approval.

Is there a free trial class?

Trial lessons are decided by the academy and are not automatic. What you can do at no cost is create an account, compare teachers, and send an enrollment request: it is reviewed first and no fee is charged before approval. To ask about a first lesson, send a support request from your dashboard.

How can I pay? Do you accept PayPal, card, bank transfer or Wise?

The payment options you see depend on what the academy has enabled for your course currency. They can include card payment, PayPal, bank transfer, Wise, Payoneer and local wallets such as Easypaisa and JazzCash. Your invoice lists the options available to you, and after a manual payment you submit the transaction reference for the academy to verify.

Is there a sibling discount or a refund policy?

Discounts and refunds are handled by the academy case by case. Send a support request from your dashboard, or message the academy, before you pay if you want to ask about a sibling arrangement or a refund.

Can I choose my class timings? What about my time zone?

Yes. Every teacher publishes the exact hours they are free to teach, and you see those hours in your own time zone. You select the weekly slots that suit you and send an enrollment request.

How long is each lesson?

Lesson length is set by the academy and shown when you choose your slots, so you can see it before you send your request.

What if I miss a class or need to reschedule?

The academy sets a cancellation window and a limit on reschedules, shown in the platform. If something comes up, message your teacher as early as you can and reschedule within those rules.

Are the classes recorded?

Classes are live. After each lesson your teacher records attendance and progress, and you receive monthly progress reports. Please ask the academy if you need to know about lesson recordings.

Which app or device do I need? Do I have to install Zoom?

Nothing needs to be installed. Classes run in the built-in live classroom in your web browser on a phone, tablet or computer. You need a stable internet connection and a camera and microphone; headphones help you hear clearly.

How do I enrol and choose a teacher?

Create a free account, choose a course and a teacher, then select your weekly slots. Your request is held while the academy reviews it, and after approval your lessons appear in your timetable.

I am a complete beginner. Can I start with Noorani Qaida?

Yes. Noorani Qaida covers the Arabic letters, short vowels and basic reading rules, and it is the usual first step. You can also try the free interactive Noorani Qaida lessons on the website before you book.

Tajweed is taught in live one-to-one classes where the teacher listens to your recitation and corrects it. Open the courses page to see which Tajweed programmes are currently offered, their level and monthly fee.

Can I memorize the Quran (Hifz) online?

Yes, with a teacher who listens to your new lesson and your revision. See the courses page for the Hifz programmes currently offered, and choose weekly slots you can keep every day or week.

Are the classes for kids, adults or both?
