Quran lessons for adults and new Muslims, online

It is never too late to learn to read the Quran. Rahma Quran offers private, live one-to-one lessons for adults who are starting from the Arabic letters, for new Muslims, and for anyone who wants to recite with more confidence. You set the pace, and your teacher adjusts the lesson to where you are today.

Start from zero, without feeling behind

Adult beginners often worry about being the only one who cannot read. In a private lesson there is no one to compare yourself with. You start with the Arabic letters and their sounds, then short vowels and joined letters, and move forward when you feel ready.

A teacher who explains in your language

Choose a teacher whose listed languages match yours, whether you want the lesson explained in English, Urdu, Arabic or another language teachers list on their profile. Profiles also show experience and qualifications.

Fit lessons around work and family

Teachers publish their weekly hours and you see them in your own time zone. Pick evening or weekend slots if those are the times you are free, depending on what teachers currently offer.

A clear path: Qaida, reading, Tajweed, Hifz

Most adults begin with Noorani Qaida, move on to reading the Quran fluently, then study Tajweed to recite correctly. Some go on to memorization. The courses page lists the programmes currently offered and their monthly fees.

You choose the weekly slots when you book, and your teacher can suggest how often to meet based on your goals and how much time you have to practise.

Can I learn on my phone?

Yes. The live classroom runs in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. A stable internet connection is needed.

I recently became Muslim. Is this suitable for me?
